B.Sc. Nursing
B.Sc. Nursing is a four year degree course. The aim is to prepare the graduates to work as a teacher in the educational institutions, as a staff nurse assume responsibilities as professional,competent nurses and midwives in providing promotive, preventive, curative and rehabilitative services.
Prepare nurses who can make independent decisions in nursing situations, protect the rights of and facilitate individuals and groups in pursuit of health, function in the hospital, community nursing services, and conduct research studies in the areas of nursing practice.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
- Pass in 10+2 or equivalent examination
- 50% marks in PCB ( Physics, Chemistry, Biology)
- 40% marks for reserved category in PCB
- Age – 17 years as on the 31st December of the year of admission. No relaxation of the minimum age will be allowed.
- Admission based on merit of previous qualifying examination.
- Admission of NRIs and foreign nationals is based on the qualifying marks in their core subjects.

General Nursing and Midwifery
General Nursing and Midwifery is a Three years diploma course. All the students besides their regular curriculum are also given ‘Spoken English’ lessons to help them with their communicative skills. They are also given training in computer applications.
The students who pass out of Dhanalakshmi Hospital School of Nursing are given BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) both internationally certified courses which will be of great help for them in their future career. Selected outstanding nurses who qualify from this institution are given training in specialty departments like ICU, ICCU, NICU, Dialysis and operation theaters.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
- Pass in 10+2 or equivalent examination
- 40% marks for reserved category in PCB
- Age – 17 years as on the 31st December of the year of admission.
- Maximum Age for admission shall be 35 yrs.
- The candidate should be physcally fit and good health.
- for disabled candidates :3% disability reservaton to be consdered with a disability of locomotor to tune of 40% to 50% of the lower extremely and other eligibility criteria with regard to age and qualification will be same as prescribed for each nursing programme.
- 5% is relaxed for SC/ST candidates.
- Any other quotas as per the state Govt. under the reservation policy.
- Quatas shall be applicable within the sanctioned number of seats sanctioned and not above it.
